Kirill Chelushkin was born in Moscow in 1968.  He lives in Paris, where he works with the largest galleries of Europe and the USA, takes part in international exhibitions, events and fairs worldwide.

 

He initially began as an architect and then turned to book illustration. He gained international popularity when, since 1990, he became to actively exhibit his works in conceptual art projects. In 2000, he made a brilliant gallery-related career for himself in Russia, amazing both critics and collectors with his involvement of huge drawing panels, which were using a classical foundation for the creation of modern cultural stereotypes.

 

His works may be found in a number of different museums and prestigious private collections worldwide, including the largest private collection of modern art of Europe - the Bernard Arnault collection, the owner of the concern LVMH (Louis Vuitton Espace), as well as the private collection maintained by the Hermes fashion house.
